Meet the specialists behind EndoMD Health
EndoMD Health is a physician-led pediatric endocrinology practice caring for
children, teens, and young adults ages 0–26. Every patient is seen by a physician who is
board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both pediatrics and pediatric
endocrinology. EndoMD Health is available virtually across Virginia and Maryland. In-person
appointments are available for specific cases.

Dr. Ladan Davallow
Chief Medical Officer · Pediatric Endocrinologist
Ivy League–trained pediatric endocrinologist with more than 10 years
treating hormone and endocrine disorders, including obesity and weight management, diabetes,
growth, thyroid conditions, and puberty. Previously faculty at large pediatric academic
centers. Published multiple research articles and took first place at the UVA Pediatrics
Research Competition.

a recipient of the Joint Service Achievement Medal and two Joint Service Commendation
Medals.

More than 20 years as a pediatric endocrinologist focusing on nutrition,
metabolism, and lifestyle medicine. Trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, Joslin
Diabetes Center, and Boston Children's Hospital, and previously taught at Harvard Medical
School. Published research on thyroid conditions, diabetes, and obesity management.

Common questions about our team
Are EndoMD Health's physicians board certified?
Yes. All three EndoMD Health physicians are board certified by the American Board of
Pediatrics in both general pediatrics and the pediatric endocrinology subspecialty.
Does EndoMD Health treat young adults, or only children?
Both. EndoMD Health cares for patients from infancy through age 26, which covers the
transition years when many young adults with an endocrine condition lose access to their
childhood specialist.
Who leads clinical care at EndoMD Health?
Physicians do. Every patient is evaluated and managed by one of three board-certified
pediatric endocrinologists, led by Dr. Ladan Davallow as Chief Medical Officer. Coaching and
nutrition support sit alongside the medical plan rather than replacing it, so a family is
never handed off to a non-physician in place of specialist care.
