Can I get a second opinion through EndoMD Health?

Yes, we provide second opinions and would be happy to look at your child’s past medical history, labs and other relevant medical information to diagnose and treat their hormone problem. Our goal is that you are completely satisfied and confident in your child’s diagnosis and treatment plan.

I prefer an in-person appointment. Do you offer that?

Yes. We offer in-person appointments in Richmond, Virginia. To book an in-person consultation, please mention your preference upon booking.

How is EndoMD Health different?

We know that treating your child’s hormone concern is not a quick fix. Firstly, our specialists will provide the appropriate medical care your child needs. In addition, our team of coaches complement this care by offering unique physiological, nutrition and emotional supports.

How does online pediatric endocrinology care work?

Many common endocrine conditions can be evaluated and managed virtually because medical history, growth data, laboratory results, imaging, and device data often drive clinical decision-making. In-person evaluation is arranged when a hands-on examination, measurement, test, or procedure is necessary. We will take the time to listen to your family, identify the root cause of your child’s hormone concern and give them the care and attention they need.

How soon can I meet with a specialist?

We book our patients within 1-2 business days and aim to have your appointment within 1-2 week timeframe.

What can I expect during a virtual consultation?

During a virtual consultation with one of our specialists, you can expect a caring and personalized experience for your child. We’ll start by talking about your child’s health history, growth, and any concerns you have. Your specialist will review recent test results and go over any symptoms or medications your child is taking. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan to help your child manage their hormone condition. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and get clear advice. Our goal is to provide expert care and support, all from the comfort of your home.

Do I need health insurance for a consultation?

At EndoMD Health, we accept patients with or without health insurance.

We are in-network with most commercial insurance plans, Medicaid, and TRICARE. Copays may apply. Please visit our Insurance page for details.

If you do not have health insurance, you can still book an appointment with a specialist and receive care. We charge a low fee of $350 for an initial consult without insurance, and $250 for a follow-up consult.

I am on Medicaid. Can I book a visit for my child?

Yes, we see Medicaid patients in Virginia and Maryland. Contact us if you are not in these states as we are expanding to new states!
